OIL PASTELS ON FABRIC

I have been excited and engaged in art in one form or another for most of my life and have attended a few Art Colleges along the way including: St. Lawrence College & Queens University, Kingston, Ont.; and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) Halifax, N.S.                          Over the past 10 years I have been developing my own art form using photography, fabric painting and oil pastels.  All of my work started with my photograph as a reference only.  Pieces of white cotton were dyed/painted in solid colours and then cut into shapes and affixed to a black backing cloth.  OIL PASTELS were then used to enhance the image.  This process and its execution are unique.

OIL PASTELS have become my passion.

All of the pieces are 'one of a kind'.
